The Skeleton King Leoric just got added to Heroes of the Storm. He is a front line Melee Warrior, that excels at slowing and dealing damage. For some reason though, if you put all of his talent points into defense, he becomes surprisingly tanky for a brawler as well.
Leoric the Skeleton King is a Hero from the Diablo franchise and is part of Act 1 in Diablo 3. He is known for his big mace and the amount of damage he does if you let him hit you. The abilities that he has in Heroes of the Storm are clearly taken from Diablo and are very similar to that of the boss.
Leoric's abilities:
- Skeletal Swing (Q) - Swing in a big arc forward, deals damage and slows.
- Drain Hope (W) - Steal life from an enemy Hero and add it to your own health, skill shot.
- Wraith Walk (E) - Seperates from Leoric's body and allows him to be very mobile.
- March of the Black King (R) - Become unstoppable and swing your mace at things. Heals and deals damage.
- Undying (R) - Leoric doesn't truly die. When he dies he comes back as a ghost and can still slow enemies.
Leoric's trait makes him a very interesting character. He basically does not die. He will stay on the battlefield and can reduce his own death timer, allowing him to come back in the game much faster than other Heroes can, besides maybe Diablo. On top of that he can still slow enemies while in the ghost form and can allow the team to still pick off enemies, even in death. He does not deal damage while in ghost form however.

When struck down, his ghostly form drains the essence of the living, replenishing Leoric until he rises to terrorize the field of battle once again.
Heroes of the Storm or "Heroes" is a multiplayer online battle arena video game developed by Blizzard Entertainment for Microsoft Windows and OS X. A game of tug-of-war or "hero brawler" where you with a team of 5 Heroes against another team that also contains 5 Heroes.
